  • Can't unlock Vodafone K3765

    Hi,
Whatever I do when I run the DC unlocker software the modem already says "unlocked" but it isn't.I tried another network sim and it didn't work. I realize I am doing something wrong but I don't know what. I had sim card in, sim card out with same result. I had the VMC software installed, then only the modem drivers.
Even when I had the wrong sim the modem didn't ask for an unlock code.

    Please help!

What conenction software do you use? Is it branded (customized by provider)? With unlocked modem you need to use not customized software and enter your new provider conenction settings (APN, username and others).

Thanks for the help. I now know that the K3765 modem comes unlocked, but the dashboard/firmware is very difficult to get around. A Vodafone rep on a different thread said the Huwaei E169 software/firmware should work. I haven't gotten up my nerve yet to try. Rep even provided a link to the firmware.

I much prefer locked modems, straightforward. Thanks again.

No, it's not right. E169 dashboard or firmware is not good for K3765.
Driver file installed by vodafone k3765 are similar only in name and extension from the original huawei driver file. The contenents is different.
