  • Huawei K3765 (Vodafone) Modem drivers don't install

    Hi!
My K3765 is only installed as a mass storage device. I can look at the VMC lite installer and some other stuff on the virtual drive, but there is no drivers for a modem.
DC-unlocker does not recognize the stick whatsoever, neither does the Vodafone-dashboard, nor MWconn...
I tried to manually install the drivers from the dc-unlocker folder...no luck.

I really need help here! Thank you!

It is the "HUAWEI Mobile" driver that can't be found/installed. I think this is the reason why the system doesn't know it's more than just a storage device.

Mille grazie da Monaco di Baviera, Fakiro!!

For anyone with a similar problem: just download the drivers from the thread linked by Fakiro (I downloaded the XP/32 drivers for my Vista x32).
After the installation of the "HUAWEI Mobile" failed during installation of the Vodafone dashboard, there was just a Vodafone storage device usable, hence the drivers for the modem didn't load.
I just unpacked the drivers from Fakiro and went to the Windows device manager. There I clicked on "drivers" and then "install new drivers" (I had 4 "mobile" devices without drivers that had Error "1" and "28" in them). For each of them I selected the folder "Huawei" which is in the download Fakiro linked here in the forum.
        Guess what?! IT INSTALLED!!
Everything is fine now, thanks to Fakiro and this great Forum!
I hope this description will help others after me, who are as newb as I am!

        Cheers

Yep!! I want thanks Fakiro too...

With his help My K4505 is working now! The only problem I still have is: DialUp dont show time of connection and do not recognize K4505 modem into Remote access--> Modem Select but if create a connection and select the right APN it works fine!!!
Test if DialUp is working just changing SIM-card and use a different APN, of course u cant connect... so just create new connection one for every SIM that must be used and it work correctly...

Probably is a DialUp Bug im using Window 7 -64Bit

          Thanks again Fakiro bye!!!

Yes, just need to configure the connection with right APN, save it e set as default to use...all as you do with Mobile Partner.
