Huawei P8 Lite 2017 Retail/Demo Mode

I have a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 - PRA-LX1 phone in Demo/Retail mode.

I have read somewhere that, once you change the UMTS region of the phone from "Demo" to "Eu", that it will remove the retail mode.
My question is, am I at the right place? And Is it true that it will be a normal working phone after changing the region to eu.

Also, will it remove the Retail mode app for me automatically when region change, and do I use HCU-Client for this operation?

In short, what do I need to convert my demo phone to a normal phone.

Yes, it should if it still on old sec patch. You need to repair model/country/vendor on HCU. After repair phone may have different ui.
