I have this base station phone which is locked. It's not Android and as much as I'd like to help others, I haven't any idea how to image its partitions? I'm wondering if it would behave like the earlier model F685 which is in the dc-unlocker supported list? The F688 presents itself as a drive in Windows with drivers which I've installed. I managed to get the IMEI code back with dc-unlocker after manually entering the 2 com ports. Is there a GUI app that supports the usb connections on this type of phone? How will I know if dc-unlocker will work? I left the SIM out for the trial run as I didn't want it damaged. I will repeat dc-unlocker with a SIM installed. Am I right in thinking if I can read the firmware version, it might be able to be unlocked? It's quite a few years old now but I've managed to get unlock and flash codes (old algorithm) but I'm struggling to get a client app that will do the job. Any advice would be appreciated?
