Bought credits to unlock K3765 (vodafone) spain but the modem is not recognized. I removed the vodafone lite software but it reinstalls.

Any point by point instructions appreciated. I am connected with another USB modem because I assume that the connection is necessary to seek the code and communicate with DC unlocker. Maybe the mix of modem software and provider software is the problem? Do I perhaps try all this connected to ADSL when I can?

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

VMC software need to be installed to allow Pc to detect modem, but VMC cannot allow you to use other network operator than Vodafone.
You can install two application (VMC + Dialup) into Pc, so you can use k3765 with other provider.
Yes, you cannot unlock modem dongle while it's connected to internet into same time, you need another internet connection.

I did get the code but can't unlock

Hi

Instead of used autodetect, which wasn't working, I selected the modem from the dropdown list and used four credits to get the code. I can't enter the code because when I plug in the modem with a different sim card it doesn't recognize the modem without the original sim card and doesn't ask me for the unlock code.

Need to detect modem with no sim inserted using dc-unlocker and you will see, if your mdoem is locked. If locked, then use auto read and enter unlock code.
