  • Huawei Mate 10 Lite (RNE-L21) test point flashing

If DC Phoenix can't detect phone when in test point mode, are there any steps do perform to try figure out what's wrong? Device shows up as Huawei USB COM 1.0 in device manager after installing the test point drivers downloaded from the service area, but the software can't detect the device no matter what I do.

When in fastboot mode the device reports Dataver=RNE-L21C432B120_DATA_RNE-L21_hw_eu and now I'm trying to repair with Rhone-L21C432B120_Firmware_Portugal_France_Spain_Belgium _Germany_Switzerland_Italy_Nonspecific_Android_7.0 _EMUI_5.1_05014TNP.APP that I downloaded from the service area.

    Any suggestions?

I see now that for test point flashing I can't use the APP files but rather only dgtks files - and since there is no for this device in the support area it won't be possible?

Anyways, device restored and with latest FW (EMUI 8 / Android 8. But I wonder, would it be possible to use DC Phoenix to downgrade to EMUI 5.1 / Android 7 again, or?

There is a board firmware for this phone on support area. It's very unlikely that you can downgrade it to lower version, but it may be possible.

Hm, is it this one you're thinking of? RHONE-AL00_S001039_Board_Software_general_Android_7.0_EM UI5.1_05022FPB_testpoint.dgtks
Besides this I can't find anything for RNE-L21 other than firmware files.

How do you get your RNE-L21 back to 8.0.0? My through testpoint only accepts L21C432B120_Firmware_Portugal_France_Spain_Belgia _Niemcy_Szwajcaria_Włochy_specyficzne_Android_7.

An attempt to upload other software ends in bootloop. I have probably uploaded several versions.
