Mate 9 found application port but don't work

I have this situation on dc unlocker:

Detecting phone :

selection :
manufacturer - Huawei phones
model - Auto detect (recommended)

Found Applications port COM6

What I'm missing here?

What android version your mobile runs please?

I have android 8

Sadly android 8 and later with latest security patches can not be serviced at the moment.

I have the same problem on Huawei P9 Lite (VNS-L21). I get the Application port but no phone info appears. Phone is running on Android 7.0. Any help will be appreciated.

This is because of your phone's security patch, but all is ok in your case and you can continue to whatever you wanted to do for your phone - unlocker/read codes etc.
