so lucky to find this site here!
I have a chinese Huawai P10 VTR-AL00C00 8.0.0.368. I managed to unlock the partitons, flash and update for a custom fw. The fw was not in the quality that I assumed - so I liked to rebrand (?) it to the european version of the original huawei firmware. The device has EMUI8 running and I did create my own kernel, recovery, boot, ramdisk and so on images for the alternative bootloader to take it. But in the middle of flashing (don't know which partition, the phone display just shutdown and never went on again. Also the phone has no LED shinning when connecting it to USB. None of the keyboard combinations work - it seems to be just dead. But there could be hope at the end of the tunnel: the phone gets recognized via HUAWEI USB COM 1.0 (COM3) interface.
Kindly provide me some answers:
- is it possible to resurrect it via DC Unlocker?
- is it possible (and if so: how...) to update the image from chinese version to european version of the OS?
- is it possible to make both steps in one?
