  • Honor 8 Bricked, Unable to write w/ DC-Phoenix

I have a FRD-L04 Honor 8, flashed the empty board (step 3) for it, and I'm trying to flash the update file along with the customization file from the download files link in DC-Phoenix. I can get into the upgrade mode, but for some reason this pops up after it starts the process:

Got the SN from the box, left the PCB SN, WiFi, and Bluetooth MAC addresses unchecked. Will update if working

Nothing seems to work, instead of the Honor logo showing up on boot it's now the Huawei logo, and it gets stuck in a bootloop of factory resets after I repair the board via HCU. Still getting the packageinfo fail when I try to flash.

You must fill all fields yourself, they do not fill on their own if data is missing. Must repair as empty board as shown in tutorials as well, there is checkbox for that on HCU in repair tab. As informed in guide phone may end up in boot loop in which case you should continue with further steps and if stock rom does not flash by following further steps then file does not match mobiles data.
