  • Unsupported Chipset

    Dears all,

I would like to read the Bootloader of my phone (Huawei LHA - M29).
I arrived to the server login, enter my login and password, then I have "Chipset unsupported" when I would like to read the code.
Surprised, because in the tutorial of the site, the chipset is the same than mine (???) --- Hisilicon Kirin (new)

Could you help me on this way ?

    Thanks and regards.

            Hello
In your case, this is only possible downgrade firmware. Use testpoint and file

              Hi Gsmgeo,
Ok, but how can I do that (downgrade) ? upgrade = easy ... downgrade ?
              I have another question.
My phone ask me to upgrade to build 9 ... is it important to do it ?

I have the objective to root my phone (like others I had) cause I can not bear that this Korean manufacturer keeps a hand on your product when you bought it.
              That's why

Sorry if my questions are noob's one.

              Oliver

Well, this can be done easily. if you can make out the phone for testpoint
To do this, you need to download downgrade firmware (board) and service firmware.
After receiving the unlock code, you can make a root on 9 android

                P.S. check pm

                  Hi,

I can not back cover the phone. It is a chocklet brick (like new smartphone), I have simply the possibility to back out the sim and the sd card.

I read on the net that you can do things to cook your phone with tools but I have two left-hand so too complicated for me.
Things I can do is to use software to root the phone (I do not use the all in one solutions, bad and not very efficient). I make it in 3 steps -> Bootloader -> TWRP -> Super (4 phones and no problems but now Huawei sucks a lot (chance that I like their phoducts)

                  Oliver

If you cannot open the back cover, you will not be able to read the bootloader unlock code.

Ok, I think I do not understand what is the back cover (The manufacturer mode maybe), if that, I ran the phone in this mode but you have several options and I do not know the choice you have to do. I followed the instructions of the site to use the dc-unlocker server (project menu->....) .. after that (??)

                        Hello
                        Yes, I misunderstood you.
You need to disassemble the phone, open the back cover, in order to get to testpoint
