Found the P9 on the Supported models page without any caveats, so I assumed it would "just work". (I have a EVA-AL00.)
The DC-unlocker app gave me 4 codes: NCK, NetSub, SP and Unblock. But the app did not unlock the phone. And non of those 4 codes are accepted by the fastboot oem unlock command.
I'm not entirely sure what I'm missing here. Googling I found someone on XDA suggesting that it cannot work with the latest EMUI updates, but the Supported models overview on this website makes no mention of that limitation, so maybe that's outdated info on XDA? I want to try again, but would hate to waste another 4 bucks if it's simply impossible.
If the firmware is not the issue, any suggestions to what I should be doing differently?
(I guess if the firmware is the issue, it may be a good idea to mention that more clearly in the Supported models list.)
