  • "Modem not found" Huawei P8 lite 2017 - firmware too new?

Hello, I tried to use dc-unlocker to get the bootloader code of a Huawei P8 lite 2017. I think everything is set up correctly:

    - HiSuite installed, but not running
    - "Manufacture mode" is active
    - In windows device manager, three ports are showing up
    - but: no modem is available in device manager (but which is not neccessary due to "How to read Huawei Android phone bootloader code")

    dc-unlocker says "modem not found".

Android version is 7.0. I downgraded from 8.0 via HiSuite.

Should it be possible to get unlock code with this firmware version?

You are trying to detect a phone under Huawei modems, select correct manufacturer. Follow guides..

Edit: This morning the server check worked. Seems to be only a temporarily problem yesterday.

Thanks. Indeed, this took me a step further.

Now I purchased credits, but on "Check login" in the "DC unlocker 2 client" I get "Error connecting to server !" (after "Testing servers" and "Aborting test servers" in the status bar.
