Huawei P10 lite - was-lx1a - not being detected by PC client

Hi, I have Huawei p10 lite with latest software with Android 8 and emui 8. I wanted to unlock bootloader using DC unlocker. So I downloaded both DC unlocked Android client and PC client.
The android client recognizes my phone because it shows the money that I would need but the PC client does not recognize it. It detects the phone (shows it connected on port COM9), but it doesn't show any other info like model or credit needed etc.
I ve installed hisuite and also set the USB port in Manufacture mode before opening pc client.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

After looking again in the instructions I found this and I feel that it might be the reason it won't detect my phone since my phone is android 8 and latest security updates (July 2020)
In HiSuite I have option to install previous version but the file size of the version is over 2 GB so I want to be sure it will work with that older version

DC-unlocker can only read bootloader unlock code not unlock it. Service available for devices with up to Android 8.0.0 sec patch early/mid 2018
Regarding detection, not all phones provide all info, or any at all, even with supported android/sec patch.
