  • Huawei MediaPad M3 not detected

My device is a MediaPad M3 BTV-W09 (suffix C128B356) running Android 7.0. (Not possible to upgrade Android, I think because of disputes between the US government and Huawei.) I am using DC-Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1431 under Windows 7. The instructions to unlock the bootloader I'm using are at https://Huawei/DC-unlocker/DC-unlock...tructions.html. When I try to detect the tablet as "Huawei phones" "Auto Detect" (the recommended option), DC-Unlocker freezes, i.e., Windows says it's Not Responding. When I try to detect as "Huawei phones" "Huawei MediaPad M3", the program runs but returns "Phone not found !".

FWIW, I thought the device was detected because the DC-Unlocker console reported a manufacturer and model - now I realize it was just repeating the selections I had made.

I downloaded DC-Unlocker 1.00.1436, but it gives the same results - stops responding with Auto Detect, fails to find phone with MediaPad M3.

    Suggestions?

Use HCU for mobile and tablets: https://hcu-client.com/ also before detection make sure your unit appears on computer in device manager correctly.
