  • HCU Honor 9 lite - "Current security patch not supported!"

    Hi,

I'm, trying to read the bootloader code for my Honor 9 lite (specs in the img below). I'm using HCU since Android 9 is installed. I've activated USB debugging and Manufacture mode, but still get the following error message:

    Code:
    Read phone info

2022-02-06 15:38:56.819 Autodetect COM port and phone type start!
    2022-02-06 15:38:57.585 Found COM port: COM5
2022-02-06 15:38:57.603 Found phone type: Huawei Android phone (HiSilicon CPU)
2022-02-06 15:38:57.609 Open COM port COM5 (Android Adapter PCUI (COM5))...
2022-02-06 15:38:57.722 Start read phone info!

    Current security patch not supported!

    2022-02-06 15:38:57.910 ERROR!

2022-02-06 15:38:57.910 We can not authorize mobile in this mode, please check supported models list, maybe device is supported with software (or hardware) testpoint.
Any advice how to resolve this?

    Edit:

    in fastboot it says:

    Phone Locked
    FRP Unlock

What does that mean? I want to flash it and install Magisk, do both need to be unlocked for that?

Your phone can only be serviced via testpoint as written in HCU tutorials for devices with android 8 and above: https://hcu-client.com/category/tutorials/
