    Seems you need to flash NV partition backup first before doing IMEI repair. On this page: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/firmware-catalog enter in search "980" and look for nv partition backup files, flash one of them and then try to repair IMEI on your device.

      also now the trpuble im having is after ive flashed the kirin 980 nv partition repair... I get bootloop. no boot into system just bootloop. you have a solution for that by any chance

        If device is bricked then chances to repair it on DC-phoenix are very low as it is flashable only via rescue recovery/fastboot. https://www.dc-unlocker.com/supportedmodelsdcpx.php
