Try to do direct unlock by software: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/huawei-e...d-unlock-guide
7 credits added back to your account to repeat unlock.

Thanks Vicentas. I've just tried again with a different modem in case there was something with the first one, but still not having any success with the second modem either. When DC-unlocker detects the modem it says "SIM Lock status : unknown (read failed)... then comes up with a menu that instead of the unlock button that includes a number of options including "Generate Unlock code by IMEI". When I choose this option it says: "Sending IMEI to server ... OK !", then it comes back with an unlock code "86653050281015 Unlock code = 41488405". Now if I go to the Huawei web UI (192.168.8.1) it comes up with the "Unlock device" page... but when I try to enter the (8-digit) code DC-unlocker gave me the "Save" button is disabled (The "Save" button is only enabled if a 10-digit code is entered). I've read on a few forums that the E3372h has different versions of firmware, and some of them can't be unlocked. Could this be the case, or do you have any further suggestions?

Correct E3372h requires authv4 code which DC-unlocker does not generate. If direct unlock does not work or is not possible due to invalid sim lock status, then problem is device's firmware.

Ok. I purchased 7 credits based on the E3372h being listed as a device supported by DC-unlocker. If DC-unlocker can't generate the required authv4 code for E3372h then please re-credit my account with 7 credits.
