    Mha-l29 imei 000000000000000

    After many times of trying,
    flashing MHA-L29B 9.0.1.179(C432E7R1P8T8) firmware,
    flashing board firmware,
    flashing downgrade board firmware,
    flashing downgrade board firmware,
    flashing full NV board firmware
    All flashed perfectly without error
    repairing (filling data) via HCU does the job when I check again via HCU but when I turn on the phone it's just zeroes even though the baseband is alive (except when I'm on board fw)
    Any help? is this a common issue on Kirin 960?

      Also, some other issues:
      when I flash the full ROM or do a factory reset it doesn't boot to the setup wizard but goes straight to the home screen instead.it's insisting on manufacture mode as well

        have you flashed nv backup for your phone fro support area before repair on hcu? If so, which file you have used please?

          No I haven't.. just flashed the whole board fw with nv "MHA-Full-Repair-NV-included-Board-A074-7.0.0_r1" I thought it would be sufficient.

            It won't in your case, you need to flash nv backup for it which you can find on the support area. You should be able to find it by entering "backup" word in search field.

              The customer took the phone & now it's back. Now HCU won't do any repair

                As visible from logs - crucial partitions are now missing, must flash a NV backup via DC-phoenix. NV backup files available on support area, you may find them by entering your phone's cpu name.

                  After flashing NV partition [Kirin960_NV_Partitions_v2_L29.dgtks] I booted the phone up, baseband blank / IMEI null
                  Tried repairing using HCU but nothing new,

                  Something is improving ('found signed IMEI' message) but the "invalid parameter!" message is strange!
                  Tried using Downgrade board software, full stock firmware reflashed NV but it's always the same on HCU!
                  Phone still shows IMEI as 000000000000000.

                    Apparently, your phone seems to be rendered unrepairable by our software then if reflashing NV backup does not fix partitions.
