Does The test point/EDL still work?

Hey there! I have a Huawei y9 prime 2019 STK-L21m Hisilicon kirin 710F (all apps say 710 but the about phone says it's 710) My build number is 12.0.0.225(C185E2R5P1) and my android version is 10/ EMUI 12


My question is. will the test point method still work on trying to unlock the bootloader?
is it even unlockable anymore?

Bootloader unlocks works only if the device runs Android 9 or lower. Anything higher will make the bootloader to go right back to lock status after unlocking.

can i downgrade to android 9 using HDB and then go back to EMUI 12 android 10?

We do not know about the possibility to downgrade, but if you unlock it while on Android 9 and then upgrade it to a higher version then bootloader will go back to lock status.
