Mediapad M5 SHT-W09, DC_unlocker doesn't detect it

Reading how to root my Mediapad on XDA and didn't realize that DC_Unlocker doesn't really work with it. But others say its detected at least, mine doesnt even do that. Tablet is fully functional, just been sitting unused for years. Wanted to rebuild it with something current for my kids to use.

Just give up or do I have options?

Have you checked before detection how it appears in the Device Manager on the computer, is it in the correct mode? Which tutorial from our website you are following to detect it?

okay, I need a refund or convert the purchase to whatever works for the HCU software. I figured out the issues preventing me from connecting with DC_Unlocker (bad cable and missing HiSuite drivers). Now I get this:

I got the 3 day unlock yesterday, but I'm not having any luck with downgrading the tablet so I can use it. As its timed, can I stop the timer or return it until I can get the tablet downgraded?
