  • HUAWEI P30 Lite (MAR-LX1A) - Unsuccessful Bootloader Unlock (Kirin710_P1_V2)

After using DC Phoenix to enable software testpoint, then HCU Client to unlock Bootloader and FB, when I reboot the system into bootloader with "adb reboot bootloader", and try to execute "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" I get FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed'). And when I do fastboot oem device-info to check my bootloader status, it again says FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed') fastboot: error: Command failed. Previously I couldn't unlock at all, probably because of my firmware version, then I downgraded to this one I found online and then it worked: "https://firmwarefile.com/huawei-p30-lite-mar-lx1a". I even tried flashing an older version thinking it could fix this, but "https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=10763459528675566538" failed to install at all on the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, either in finding stock roms that are android 9 that could work, or solving the issue if that is not the cause. And if my license could be extended, that would be greatly appreciated, until I sort this out.

After enabling tp you need to unlock bootloader on HCU if your device is on Android 9. We do not provide assistance regarding downgrades.

I did unlock it exactly like that, it did not give me an error. Enable tp, unlock, disavle tp. I even sent over the logs. But it still doesn't let me execute fastboot commands in the bootloader screen. Not sure if it's because of the firmware version, or is it something else.

What do you see on fastboot screen?

On the bootloader screen I see PHONE Locked, FRP Lock. Which is confusing since when I run the software it says it's unlocked. But as soon as I disable testpoint and reboot into bootloader it's locked.

It means it wasn't unlocked. Seems your device is at the moment on higher than 9 Android if you performed the unlock, you can still repeat it if the time license is still active though.

Tried installing an android 9 version through DC Pheonix, but seems like I soft bricked my phone, it can't boot to that image and I can't seem to restore my other rom.

Okay I managed to install an update through the DC Pheonix app, now I'm on Android 9. Went through the proccess of unlocking my phone, now I get that message every time when I boot: "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" which means I have unlocked it hopefully, and on the bootloader screen now it says Phone unlocked and FRP Lock. However I still can't use fastboot commands such as fastboot oem device-info and fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp-3.7.0_9-0-anne.img to flash TWRP.

Then the problem is elsewhere not bootloader lock sadly we do not have information regarding ADB or flashing something through it or what other protections can cause the phone to reject commands.
