error code 24 for huawei 5830 !!

hi, i bought 15 credits to unlock my Huawei 5830 but at 19% of the process i get this error message:

Unlocking, please wait ...

Preparing Boot Download mode ...

unlock failed !

(error code 24)

I need your help what to do?

Be sure you use latest dc-unlocker software version. 496 version.
Check, if modem is detected by autodetect.
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed.
Check, if not other huawei modem is connected.
Check, if not other huawei modem drivers were previous installed on computer you are doing the unlock. If were installed, remove all drivers and install only drivers for modem you are unlocking.
If this does not help, after error open device manager and update the modem device by drivers from modem. Then restart computer and do unlock again.
If that does not help, try unlocking on other computer.

Now unlocked but still can't use it

Hi, I was able to unlock when I did it in another PC. However, still I can not use the modem with the unlocked sim because I can't change the APN, username and password in the configuration page of the modem (5830). The fields can't be changed. It seems they were locked by the provider. Help me pls to overcome this problem. What shall I do?

You need to create new profile, not to change existing.

How can I create new profile?

Create new profile you can in wifi manager or web panel. I think is is called profile management in software. More you can read in router manual.

Unlocking unlock device for all sim. Do not need to to unlock again.
