but thanks for the quick reply anyway..... and i agree with you that buying new one will cost less than unlocking by spending that much money, because its just for personal 1 time use of the unlocking mechanism....
and i'm sad that it happened within 1 month of buying this one and right now i just cant buy a new one.. :'( (

Not much luck yet. I've got another one anyway but still would like to get the first one to work.
I've found some Vietnamese website where they claim to be able to unlock it, but they need to have it physically in order to be able to open it and perform the unlocking. And I'm not going to send it to Vietnam - it would cost more than the stick itself.
Also, there may be theoretical possibility to unlock it ######### but it's rather expensive solution given that the USB stick to be unlocked costs much much less...

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I tried to flash the "generic" one over that but it just fails. The only one I'm able to flash in there is that viettel one, with every other if just fails.
I also hacked the viettel firmware flasher (it's a bit different from the generic flasher) a little to make it flash the generic firmware instead of the viettel one, but it fails anyway.
It accepts the flash code, starts with data backup and after 1 or two minutes of no progress I get an error.Leave a comment:

I've accidentally updated the standard E1750 with viettel firmware 11.126.13.00.439 ( http://depositfiles.com/en/files/yjhf498pf ) - yeah, stupid mistake.
And this one doesn't seem to be unlockable yet. Any chance of getting the unlocking for this one to work?
I tried to re-flash it with standard 11.126.13.00.00 but the flash fails right in the beginning.
Maybe flashing with the older (unlockable) viettel firmware would be an option, but unfortunately I can't find any download for that one.
