  • 3uk Huawei unlock

    Hey guys,

I've been having a look around the forum but can't seem to see much of a solution for my situation.

Initially the software was picking up be device fine, as soon as I paid for it now it can't find it!!! It worked at first when it was unlocking then it hung at 14% and I had to reset it. This was mentioned on another post as a common thing and I removed battery to reset as directed.

Now it wont detect at all. Everything is installed and it looks like it works fine - 3 connection manager launches and I always close it before trying to unlock. The software can see the device but the unlocking software fails to detect it and I've tried setting it up manually which is also fails on.

I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it with drivers from the Huawei site which was mentioned in a post on here. ( http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1896 )

I've also tried with all other connections disabled - which means I don't get internet but still not being detected.

I've disabled the firewall, tried different USB ports all direct to mother board, tried different drivers,

I dunno where to go now. I was put onto this software by http://www.shadwell.eu/paul_shadwell...-part-one.html which all looked good... unfortun ately I've not been so lucky.

    Can anyone help me?

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Check, if the drivers are installed

Yes they are. Tried the automated removal of drivers and the automated install of drivers.

Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet

Yes the connection softeware is closed and the modem certainly isn't connected.

Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software

          Yes, tried manual too.

Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Tried two versions as explained below. Latest and an earlier version as someone suggested the earlier version made it work for him on the same device.
