Does the unlock work?

Am I doing something daft?

I've tried unlocking and the modem is detected corectly as the E585.
I have 15 credits.
But when i choose unlock the unlock button is grayed out????

Your simlock status seems to say "unlocked" already - have you tried just putting another operator's Sim in?

Thanks for that, it was me misunderstinging how this all worked.
I thought that the unlock was on the device so I could have any SIM in.
Chucked the Vodafone sim in and it worked first time

Try to detect modem with wrong sim (other provider than modem) inserted. Only then will see real lock status.

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.
Also there may be problem because you use not direct windows (are using mac).
