    I cannot be on the internet with modem at the same time as DC-Unlocker want to detect the modem.

    If I open DC-Unlocker first, detect modem, then cannot get on the net without unplugging modem. After that DC-Unlocker cannot see the modem again. Restart and restart and restart does not work for me.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0509

    As well I cannot find any firmware more up to date for the e160g to give me voice while others in this forum say it does have voice.

    Any help much appreciated.

    You need to have internet connection at unlock time. You must have have other internet connection (not same modem that you are unlocking) if you choose auto read and enter unlock code function. If you choose generate unlock code by imei (only for huawei modems), then you can be connected with same modem, but you must be sure that modem is locked and that the connection software ask for unlock code.

      I come to this conclusion, so that part I understand after three days of searching no one said this.

      Yes huawei modem. I don't understand, what connection software can ask for unlock code? I am using the Mobile Partner v11.302.09.01.539. Thank you for any help...

        Unlock PIN is dim in connect software if I am looking at right place.

        Same modem I unlocked once before. After upgrade modem was locked again. I cannot remember old user name.

        I tried to enter ksfix, no work.

          I tried "generate unlock code" even though no place to put it. Now I know this won't work on another internet connection. I have 9 attempts left but this is from other user account a couple of years ago I cannot remember.

          Yesterday I tried to buy credit for new user account and it was refunded with message "Sorry only verified accounts allowed".

          Never I find anything so hard to achieve

            Try mobile partner from our web page: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads...mised_managers
            Then insert not original sim to modem and start mobile partner. If it ask for unlock code, then modem is locked.

              If you have lost or forgotten your paysword, you can use remind password function in dc-unlocker software. Password will be sent to your e-mail that you provided when bought credits.

                  Foreign sim does ask for unlock code Vincentas.

                  What to do?

                  If I buy credits again can I unlock again then get password?
                  Can you look up old user name with modem serial Vincentas?

                  Is firmware version 11.608.08.81.00.B409 right one for voice with e160g?

                      Wrong codes entered shows how many wrong unlock codes were entered. After 10 wrong codes entered unlock counter will be bloced and you will not be able to enter more unlock codes.

                          When you use remind password you receive username and password.
                          We can find your username, but we do not provide it in forum. You need to contact us by live chat and then proove that this username or password is yours.

                            Success!

                            Answer I could not get is yes, it's the same firmware for e160/e160g/e160x. Confirmation before taking risks would have been handy. That wasn't obvious and nor was the fact that you have to find some other way to get on the net to do the task.

                            Thanks very much Vincentas, I am delighted. Though it still beats the heck out of me how anyone is supposed to retreive a user name if they have no recollection of what user name to enter for password recovery. On wirless, live help is not possible for everyone. Not to worry, another $7au was a small price.

                              For password recovery you do not need to enter username. You only need e-mail that was used. And also you should be able to check that e-mail.
