Huawei E180 Problems

Hi

I had recently bought some credits to unlock my locked Huawei E180 using DC unlocker from PCCW in Hong Kong, I now use it for 3 in Australia, but I also have a Vodafone account which I tried to use and it will not connect.

I have used the correct APN and it is funny how the unlocked E180 can work for 3 here in Australia but will not work for the Vodafone network, it says remote server will not connect something like that.

Can someone here help me how to enable it to work with the Vodafone network?

Or do I need to buy some more credit to unlock another time for another carrier? I am unsure if one off unlock is enough for the Huawei 180 to be used for 2 different carriers.

Also, where can you find the latest firmware for the Huawei E180?

After you unlock modem it is unlocked for all sim cards. you should vcheck, if you use unbranded connection software and correect connection settings. Unbranded connection software you can download here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/open/32

I had the Vodafone APN incorrect!!!

I have now corrected the APN for vodafone and it works very well!!!!!
