Dear Vincentas,

I'm not sure what is wrong but i have still some questions which is not clear on my mind:

Will SIM be inserted while unlocking?
Will phone will be on while unlocking?

However i do not believe these are the root cause of above problem. I read most of related forum posts, no result It might be communication problem with netbook and phone. I don't think there's a non unlockable VF 840. May you please help? Thx,

Sim card does not effect this. You can do unlock with or without sim. Phone must be turned on. Does it ask to reconenct cable at unlock? Maybe you missed this?
Also be sure no other phone or modem is connected to computer.
Try to do unlock in other usb port.

Nope,

After phone lcd become completely purple, while "Preparing Boot Download mode ..." phase, PC finds a new device and asks for a driver. At this point, "error code 24" comes. I believe i do something wrong or missing at steps, but no idea about it. Youtube is blocked here, i did not watch the videos

Do i need to insert a micosd card while this unlocking? Thx,

You should install this driver, download mode drivers should be installed, and repeat unlock from begin.

Hi,

I sent the phone to service Here's what happened: It uses a modified Opera Mini by operator. There's a http proxy you can't remove, etc, which makes me piss off. That's why i wanted to unlock it.

A couple of days ago, Opera Mini was broken. It gets frozen while splash screen saying as "loading". Meanwhile i couldn't unlock it. And operator told me for firmware upgrage from V840V100R001ENGC02B556SP06 to V840V100R001ENGCO2B556SPO7 (for ESF exactly). Of course i didn't tell them i'm trying to unlock it

I copied some related files to MicroSD and booted the phone by pressing "send key", "end key", "power key" together as described. You might know all these. As a deepnote, if you press *2580 and down arrow (scroll key), you can get phone's "about" page (version infos).

Anyway, every time phone gives me a big red "F" on the screen. If i repleace battery, no problem. Bu no way to upgrage like unlock for me

As the post is already long enough, i'll have four questions:

1. What is the unlock here? When i insert the competitor operator's sim, it works. Unlocking here is to make it work with other operators also, or like my purpose, to run a untouched Opera, etc, using like the original U751x?

2. Is it possible to find original firmware? I checked dc-files, nope.

3. Kind of related with above question, what is the difference APP and ESF? Just wondering after reincarnation, can it work like untouched U751x with the operator?

4. While googling i saw this. Note sure what VF840 really equals as Huawei, but i couldn't find how i will be asked for a password while turning on the phone.

Talked too much, right? After i receive the phone from service, i'll keep on trying to unlock. I can't affort more expensive models and it's nice to read RSS in bus to work

When phone is locked, you can use only 1 provider sim card. If it is not locked, then you can use nay provider sim card.
Dc-unlocker unlocks phone to use any provider sim card.
