Hi i have just unlocked an E5830


Found modem : E5830
Model : Huawei E5830/E583x
IMEI : 354103031xxxxxx
Firmware : 666.11.00.20.112sp05
Dashboard version : UTPS11.302.04.08.156
Serial NR. : Y84CAC1042300796
SIM Lock status : unlocked


but when i insert my T-Mobile SIM card i get incorrect sim inserted error
do i have to change the Firmware and/or the Dashboard? before the modem will work as the settings in it are fixed to the 3 network if i need these where do i download them?

Could you write full imei? will check if it was unlocked.
Also, when you detect is there sim card inserted? Original or not?

You may need to replace your dashboard software, get it from www.dc-files.com
You need to create new profile & set it as default.
