Can anyone please help me to unlock the provider on this phone so it can be used on any network. The current provider is Vodafone.
I have got DC-Unlocker 2 Cleint v1.00.0401 which supports this model phone. Is there anything else I need? What cable do I need to use? Can I use the phones usb cable?
I tried it with the usb cable but it didn`t work and came up with phone not found!

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you install the drivers & software for the phone, does the phone show in Device Manager?
Yes you need to use USB cable for detection & unlocking.

I have not installed any drivers or software as I don`t know what to get or where from. Can you or someone else please point me into the right direction or post links to the files I need.

      Thanks

Did Windows find new hardware when you plugged phone in?
You can find drivers in your version of dc-unlocker in here on your hard disk drive, C:\Program Files\DC-Unlocker\drivers\huawei_phones\Vodafone presuming Windows is installed on C:\ drive.
        Hope that helps.

When I plug the phone into usb the phones program starts up on my pc, if thats what you mean.
I have found the drivers as you said. I`m running win7 64bit. I ran the Devsetup64 but nothing seemed to of happened. Do I have to do anything with the files in Vista-AMD64? or with any .dll files? I still cant see the phone in explorer. If you could help more that would be great.

If you can not detect phone you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the phone software is closed ainternet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Drives you should install from phone.
Also use 32 bit system. Because dc-unlocker may not work correct on 64 bit system.

After all needed drivers are installed you should see your phone in device manager in modems and in ports sections.
                Drivers should install from phone.
