  • T-mobile UK Huw E160 unlock

    Hi all,

I've downloaded DC-unlocker and purchased my 4 credits ready to unlock this thing.

I fired up DC unlocker without the SIM and set manuf to Huw, and model to auto and I get: 'card not found'

..it's not connected to the internet, nor is the t-mobile dashboard running.

I'm running Windows 7 if that makes a difference, tried running the unlocker as an admin, no difference.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Drivers are installed, I can use the modem.
      Connection software is closed.
Autodetect and manual detect both fail.
      Latest version downloaded today.

      Cheers,

You can try to enter ports manually. Maybe it will help you.
Com ports number you can find in device manager. Open device manager. There check, what com port number you see for modem in ports (com and lpt) section. Other port you can find if you select your modem in device manager and go to its properties. Port from modem enter as application port, port from ports section enter as diagnostic. To enter ports you need to select modem model and manufacturer. Try to detect after ports are entered. If that does not help – try to change ports places and then detect again.

Thank you sir, seemed to do the trick when I manually choose the ports.
