ERROR_IMEI when trying to flash EM770
Hi,
I have a notebook with a EM770, which i couldn't get to connect to the 3G network..
So, the notebook manufacturer asked me to flash another firmware they provided.. You guessed it, somewhere in the flashing process it got stuck and whatever i try, it's no longer recognised in Mobile Partner.
If i retry the EM770 Update wizard (tried all FW versions i could find):
Communication port: COM3
Connection status: connected
Current version:
Target version: 11.104.16.06.00 (just an example, tried all)
IMEI: ERROR_IMEI
Download Mode: Force Download
After a few seconds i get "Update Failure!"
This is with all FW's i tried (but i think the FW originally on the card was newer that any i found)
DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0557 tells me: Card not found!
Huawei is no help, got a mail from them 3 weeks ago they would get back to me soon.. Still waiting!
The notebook manufacturer is willing to replace it, but they want me to ship the whole netbook to them (overseas).. Not a viable solution..
Anything i could try to get the EM770 working again? With a hacked Firmware Update?
Or is there another way to force the FW to flash?
Anything i could try? Commands to try?
I'm getting a development board for another 3G card, so i could even flash it disconnected from the notebook..
I'm willing to try anything, since the card doesn't work ATM, no harm..
