What happens to 3Connect, how do you connect to the internet?

I have a MiFi Huawei 5830 and a E156G, the E156G is the one I want to unlock but what happens to 3Connect, the origional software that the dongle installed on my computer to connect to the internet? Once the dongle is unlocked how do you connect to the internet?

With unlocked modem you need to use not customized software and enter your new provider conenction settings (APN, username and others).
