  • INQ Chat 3G: Unlocked, but hard-coded?

    Hi there, quick back-story:

I bought an INQ Chat 3G from Koodo in Canada.
They didn't have a decent data plan.
I unlocked my phone through DC Unlocker,
I signed a 2 year pact with Fido.
Now I can use the Fido SIM card, but when I tried to do anything internet related, it warns me I'm roaming.

I setup the Fido WAP network as per their instructions and made it my default network to connect to, but it seems to be hard-coded to the Koodo SP network.

Did I screw up unlocking the phone? Other people don't seem to have the same problem I do, but they are using the phone in Europe, so it may be different.

Any/all help is very appreciated. Thanks for reading.

OK i recently unlock the same phone and am having the same issue however i know a lot about these things and its clearly the setting that you input it need to be accurate and also there's 2 places that needs to be configured in the phone not one so bring it to Fido and have them configured it or u will need to flash with a custom firmware and i wouldn't recommend that if u don't know how to do that
