I had assumed that this message meant that my modem was already unlocked....so changed settings and inserted new sim card - got INVALID SIM message, tried with another sim, same INVALID SIM message. So created an account and bought 15 credits via paypal, logged on successfully and....there is nothing I can do...I get the same message as above (which suggests that the modem is already unlocked, even though it was bought locked into 3 network), and the unlock button is greyed out.

Can anyone suggest what is going on? I have spent 3 hours and 15 euros and no nearer to finding a solution...Any advice is very much appreciated

What sim card is there inserted when you detect? Original or not?

Try to insert other provider sim card (not original). Same lock status?

I put invalid SIM in and that allowed unlocking!
