  • Huawei E585 Not Connecting to other networks

    Hi,

I Have just run the unlock software and it says the simlock has been removed,

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0575

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - Huawei modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Model : Huawei E585
    IMEI :
    Serial NR. : M7A4CA1092803066
    Firmware : 1026.11.64.18.505sp01
    Compile date / time : Sep 6 2010 12:02:06
    Dashboard version : ConnLaucher_WIN1.01.01.156_MAC1.01.02.156
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM7625A
    SIM Lock status : unlocked

I have setup the correct APN for 3 different networks but it just stays on No Network screen message, with all 3 different sims it says SIM Lock Status as unlocked.

If I put the orignal sim back in it connect after reseting the E585.

    Any help would be great.

Could you write device imei number? Does it accept other provider sim? Or write message sim incorrect?

It doesn`t give incorrect sim message, the only message I get is no network

I just tryed my 3 sim and can not connect on that either, I put it into another 3 usb moden and it connects fine. so what ever the unlock does it seems to have messed up the modem, i have tryed reseting the modem and still no connection even with the original sim card

What country is device from? Also try to open router web panel and check the settings there. If device accept sim card means itis unlocked.

Many device with this firmware are unlocked. Also, unlock only reads the unlock code, so it can not do anything to your mode. If device accept sim crds, then it is unlocked for sure.
What city are you from? We will cehck, maybe someone from our reseller or any other people using our product are near you and would be able to try to help you.

                      How to set 3G preferred

My problem is similar to this thread. I've had the device unlocked (orig from 3 networks) and it works fine with the 3 sim. But when I out in another sim, it just connects and then disconnects. Over and over.

I read a reply here where I should just set it to 3G preferred. I see where to do this but it gives me an error that a connection is already established. When I try to do this without a sim, the Network Settings are is greyed out.

So how can I set this setting?

Thanks much for the help. I want to make sure the device is truly unlocked.

I did the settings on the web interface but it still tells me that I can't change this setting since a connection has already been established.

                          Exact message:

                          Applying

The errors that occurred in the process of modifying the settings of the Mobile Wi-Fi will be displayed on this page.

The connection has been established. You cannot change network settings.

Wait for 3 seconds, and then click Continue, or you can refresh this page.

                          Any help? Thanks.
