Huawei Dashboard Tool v.0.0.0.8

Few days ago frutis has released a new version of Huawei Dashboard Tool v.0.0.0.8

Improvements:
- Used the new installer Huawei: UTPS16.002.15.04.114_MAC16.001.17.05.114 (E173u-1)
- Correct application performance on systems with different encoding characters (eg Chinese)
- Do not get an error if the system does not have usb drives, cd-rom
- The size of iso image is checked before the application starts
- Change the way backup progress reporting dashboard
- Can not use special characters in the "label"

You didnt add these lines for adding subitems on skinmenu

u mean by skin files that files inside the ( classic.smf ) coz i did all the steps but in skin option i didn't got any option



and how to open the ( .smf ) file

does the skin menu and submenu already being created for u

if yes ,you also need copy skin files "classic.smf, classic.xml, orange.smf, orange.xml, green.smf, green.xml" to skin folder under MP installation
note :should have more than one skin to try this

if not you should check out step1 if the line copied to the right place

if still got problem ,email the config.xml under "xframeplugin" to me [email protected]

how to add operator profile in dashboard installer ?

there are two methods can do this
1）Add system profile
open file "plugins\NetConnectPlugin\NetConnectConfig.xml "
add a moudle included all profiles names like below

<module name="#OPERATOR#" describe="#Doesnt matter#">
  <ProfileList>
     ;"default" it means NAME1 is the default profile for connection 
     <item name="NAME1" value="default" type="DialUp"/>
     <item name="NAME2" value="" type="DialUp"/>
     <item name="NAME3" value="" type="DialUp"/>
     ;You can add more....  
 </ProfileList>
</module>

open "plugins\NetConnectPlugin\ProfileLib.prof"
add profile settings for each one created above just like below
and already exist many instances you can learn creating yours from file "ProfileLib.prof"

2) add user profile
its more easy ,personally I'd prefer to use this
run MP program navigate to "tool->options->profile management"
create all profiles you need,then copy "userdata" folder to "common" folder or operator folder,delete all files and folders exclude "userprofile.prof" from "userdata"

hope Fakiro @ BJFROG answer this , also how to costomize the interface of the dashboard i didn't know the right directory of the inteface ( color and ...etc ) < need just hints bro's

so far no solution change the color of the interface unless HUAWEI guys want it work that way.

i have a method to change the skin
1)Add a skin item on toolmenu
open file "plugins\xframe\config.xml",add below line in bold in element "<popupmenu parent="toolmenu">......</popupmenu>"

	<popupmenu parent="toolmenu">
	       ......
    	 [B]  <item type="POPUP" id="IDS_MAINFRM_MENU_MAINFR_SKINS">skinmenu</item>[/B]
    	   ......
   </popupmenu>

2)Add subitems on skinmenu
copy the following section between two elements ,also need copy skin files into "skin" folder

	<skin>
	;;this will add three skins on the skinmenu
		<item name="Classic" type="xframe" file="Classic.smf" id=""/>
		<item name="Orange" type="xframe" file="Orange.smf" id=""/>
		<item name="Green" type="xframe" file="Green.smf" id=""/>

A new skin will be applied when peogram next start.

btw USSD is main Feature imp to me bcoz to check my GPRS balance
now my UMG1831, USSD Feature working wth mobile partner

Well...and sorry but if firmware don't have voice calling feature inside then the voice-function don't work ....dc-unlocker cannot enable it

Yes, I know MDMA, but don't have into my hands this umg1831 modem dongle. Don't know if yours is customized or not...firmware version, etc.
