I have been successfully using a e585 Mifi router for Internet access at home for a while now. However when I recently bought an apple time capsule I noted that it best works hard wired to an Internet acces point via Ethernet cable.
Luckily I still had a e156 and d100 router (my previous solution), which works well but is very slow and signal is poor.
To speed this setup up I purchased an unlocked k4505 however this doesn't seem to work with the D100 router. On the box of the router says it works with all huawei dongles?!
On the router the power WLAN and mode light come on but there is no signal light. In the admin control panel it seems to show the dongle is inserted (no error message saying no USB modem detected).
Does anyone know or have any ideas what could be wrong?
The d100 doesnt work if you plug the mifi into it directly either.
