No IMEI on e1820 flashed to K4505

I got a e1820 that somebody flashed to K4505 and for some reason it doesn't have a IMEI at all! Is there any way to unlock it completely or flash a different firmware which brings it back to e1820? Or is it bricked?

Ok, I managed to flash it back to e1820 by using Vodafone's flasher and replaced the firmware with Reshacker to Swedish Tele2's e1820 firmware. The IMEI is still not there though...

Luckily it is not mine. I was just wondering if there was a way to restore the IMEI.

I've also been playing with Huawei's flasher and managed to enable forced flashing. I've also noticed that the program has the capability to backup the nvram and restore it.

Quite simple actually. I used Resource Hacker version 3.5.2.74.

1) Opened E182EUpdate_11.825.03.00.56.B427.exe with 7zip and extracted .rsrc/BIN/220 (this is the actual firmware I wanted to flash)

2) Opened K4505Update_11.870.02.10.11.B455.exe with Resource Hacker and deleted BIN/301/2052

3) In Resource Hacker select "Add a new resource" from menu. Select file 220 that was extracted with 7zip. "Resource type" is BIN, "Resource name" 301 and "Resource language" is 2052. Then click "Add resource", then "Save as" and choose a new filename.

Run the exe that you saved and in my case the program didn't ask for a password. Running E182EUpdate_11.825.03.00.56.B427.exe resulted in password prompt.

And how to fix a missing IMEI I know it might be considered illegal but it still annoys me to no end to not able to fix it.

Tried QPST and get error "parameter is write protected and thus read only" so it might not work.

I have no idea yet how to backup firmware. I followed the instructions from the website I linked earlier. Thinking back I did click "Write NV" after getting the read-only error message and got no error message.
