  • Huawei e169 Voice Enabled

    Hi !!!

I have an Huawei e169 with the right firmware ad voice enabled Mobile Partner. In DC-Unlocker I see that voice feature is enabled and that the modem is unlocked.

Unfortunately, when trying to make a voice call through the Mobile Partner, I instantly get: Failed.

In ATtrace_0 I have: ERROR \new090511\Unicomm\src\atcomm\Call.cpp (line 100) DialOut false!

    In trace_0 I have:

[2011-02-09 22:12:40] ERRO CallUIService CallUIDlg.cpp(line 6466): Get VideoCall interface Failed!
[2011-02-09 22:12:48] INFO FILEMGR FileManager.cpp(line 1075): The removed reocrd is zero!
    [2011-02-09 22:12:48] ERRO CallService CallServiceImpl.cpp(line 292): CMDialOut Error.

In Mobile Partner I've set: Use oly GSM.

Anything I can do to make the voice feature work?

    Thanks

Any other suggestion? Would it be possible to disable voice feature and then enable it back? Don't know what else to try ...

      Thanks

Then you can try updating other firmware. Maybe this helps.

Huawei e169 Voice Enabled Calls Fail

            I've tried with:

            AT^DDSETEX=? and I get:

            ^DDSETEX2)
            OK

            The possible values are:
            1- Modem Port
            2- Diag Port
            3- PCUI Port
            4- PCVOICE Port

            Shouldn't be active option 4?

Is it possible to test the voice feature using a diferent software? I thought that it could be some problem with Mobile Partner and XP on my PC.

I've already reflashed the firmware 5 times with 4 different firmwares but the voice feature remained enabled.

Usually flashing firmware will remove the voice feature, if it's enabled....seem that your modem is little faulty
                    Try this step:
                    - flashing a valid firmware (with voice feature)
                    - wait for unload/load new device driver
                    - run dcunlocker, then autodetect
                    - in the white window of dcunlocker, write the AT command ATZ (reset)
                    - close dc-unlocker
                    - safely remove key from usb
                    - reconnect into USB and wait for unload/load new device
                    - send AT command AT^CVOICE? (?= ask status)

if answer: ^CVOICE:0,8000,16,20 mean that voice is enabled
                    ^CVOICE:1,.....(disabled)
