I just downloaded dc-unlocker selected hawei and asked for the modem to be recognised. I plugged it in without sim. I paid 4 euros and hey presto it is now unlocked. It was a week old, but after three hours with vodafone techies, they couldn't get it to work. My son suggested DC-Unlocker and I am thrilled.
I immediately found my old norwegian dongle and gave that a try. Guess what for just a few more euros I now have a working spare!
What a great program. What a money saver!
