e1550 THREE UK unlocked, now what?

Hey,

Sorry for the total n00b Q's,
I have just unlocked my e1550, from 2009, put in another sim,
But the default Three Dash/Firmware is still on it and reports signal/3g/edge but when i try to "connect" i get errors...
Couldn't find any way to enter APN settings etc, I am a bit lost!

So do i need to upgrade my firmware via flashing?
If so which firmware? and is there any more info on the process? a link please anyone? :-)

I tried searching, couldn't find much,
my only experience with flashing is with Xbox and Asus 0!play and even then with step by step dummy guides.

Rite, well after a little further googling, I got mine working.

I just installed Mobile partner/Dashboard after unlocking,
I did NOT install new firmware, checked with other sim, which only does Edge and success!

This is the one I used, so if anyone else has same specs as me,
Seems there is no need for firmware also, just a new Dash after unlocking.
