Try to detect device by autodetect and then do unlock.
Also be sure modem software is closed.
Check, if no other modems are connected.
Try to restart and do unlock again.

      Hello All,

It would seem like there is a new batch of modems which prevents the unlock on these for the time being

I'm getting the same error message regardless to what I try.
      Usual troubleshooting has been performed.

There is no problem with this firmware. Many these are unlocked by dc-unlocker. You should check suggestions in my last post.
Also, try to use other computer.

          Hello Again,

I'm still having no luck with this new batch.

Even tried this on another computer, downgrading to a previous version, and the usual troubleshooting, including the mentioned above.

It seems to be error 21 everytime, I've tried on around 3 different modems in this batch so far.

I unlock these on regular basis, I'm certain there is something new in place to prevent the unlock.

Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot ?

          Kind Regards

            Try to reinstall drivers.
Remove all huawei drivers and install only for this device.
After error open device manager and check for unknown devices. If there are, then update drivers for them, restart and do unlock again.

              Hello,

              Still the same issue.
Tried all the steps recommended and get the same error 21.

After getting the error and checking device manager, there is no "unknown device" there, only the huawei network card.
