With decreasing to version 1.00.0805 get another error
In normal mode

unknown error (106)
In the boot-mode

Fastboot version: 0.5
Product: MSM7x25

unknown error (106)

If you are using version 1.00.0764 everything is OK.

In normal mode, unlocking was the first time.

Use latest, 0828 version of DC-Unlocker: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/get/Wm7YW6UX
This problem is already fixed there.

Are you sure that you put phone in fastboot mode this way?
Turn off the phone. Then press POWER shortly. Then press and HOLD Vol-, END and POWER buttons until your phone hangs. This will enter to fastboot mode. Then connect your phone to computer and follow the rest of instructions.

Did you install drivers from procedure link?

That should be described direct after anounced solution for unlock U8500, or instructions included in program.

Seems that unlock procedure is some secret.
That should be warning for future buyers of DC-unlocker.

It is not a secret: you need to unlock phone in fastboot mode.

Hi all.

I unlocked my Huawei U8500 for this i needed to put the phone in "fastboot" mode (turn phone of press vol down hang up and power on), with auto detect the phone was recognized as Huawei 8150 Ideos.
Fastboot version : 0.5
Found Phone : U8150
Model : Huawei U8150 IDEOS
IMEI : 35....
Serial NR. : 7X....
Firmware : U8500V100R001C00B669_EFS
SIM Lock status : unlocked <--After button press

I was a little afraid to press the unlock button, but it worked for me.

Sorry but the way I solved my problem can not be shared on the forum.
If you have a similar problem as mine you should contact live support and they will help you for sure. The solution for my problem was specially created for me only. I really hope you will understand the situation.
