Try updating firmware. This should be enough to unlock it.

Look like dc team have no answer or clue for this. As this model e1550 new firmware came many times before but the dc team provide no perfect solution for this. Dear Product supporter we like ur product very much pls give the proper response to us as another new model E1732 comes in the market which also have the customized firmware. Pls do something for that.

Update the firmware. Did you try this? This is for huawei 1550.
About E1732. Do you have dc-unlocker dongle or vygis dongle and modem with you? Modem must be your you should have it for long time.
