Us K3765 Vodafone modem with other carrier

Before I purchase anything from here I need to make sure that it will do what I need.

I have a K3765 Vodafone modem with a Vodafone dashboard (I think). All I want to do is use it to send SMS messages but Vodafone don't have a reasonably priced SIM to handle that and I don't want to waste a working modem. I am in Australia.

What do I need to buy and do to enable me to use this modem with a Sim from a different carrier?

Replace Vodafone Lite

Hi, Thanks for your post. I found the following instructions to unlock the modem so I did it and it worked perfectly. Can you point me to where I can find basic instructions on how to replace the Vodafone Lite dashboard with the generic dashboard?
