Newbie Questions: Unlock E160

As a new member I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find all the answers.

I have an O2 E160 dongle that I would like to unlock, and stop the awful Connection Manager from trying to install and run.

I think I can do that with new firmware.

My questions:

1. How much does the unlocking cost?

2. Does it remove the O2 Connection Manager?

3. Can I then use Mobile Connect, and where is the best place to download?

Unlock cost 4 euros. No, it does not change connection manager.

Need to find dashboard update file and run it. It will change connection manager.
