    Hi All,

I have a Vodafone K4505 in the UK that I want to use on T-Mobile as I have a SIM for them.

I used the DC-unlocker service and it told me that the K4505 is unlocked, which I think from reading round, is what is expected.

So from this I think all I need to do is replace the Vodafone Mobiel Connect (VMC) software with the generic Huawei mobile connect software to make it work.

So the question is, how do I do this? The FCC ID is QISCP12V on the back, as it has V at the end does this mean it can't be done as it seems to indicate in this thread?:

If it is possible can someone let me know how to flash the firmware and where to get the firmware from?

    Cheers,

    Phil.

You need to get firmware file and run it. Try to search in our forum for firmware file.

Now forgive me for being stupid but when I go to the rapidshare link I can't see any way to download the file?

        Solution

Ok so I found what I needed here:

It's the Dashboard Update file you need, this will then update the firmware.

        Thanks everyone!!
