  • Huawei E585 Cant Browse

This modem is from 3 UK and was unlocked (so says Dc Unlocker / Also owner says another technician unlocked it) But it will not allow other devices browse.
When I put Nigeria simcard, it sees the network on 3G, but if i search wth Pc or other devices, I see it and connect with the WEP key all OK, but they will never browse. Also the indicator on the Mifi screen where it shows data transfer size does not appear.

What could be the problem here ?

It seems that you did not enter connection settings to your router and it can not connect to network. So your PC can not connect to network also.

So how do I enter there? I tried the one I saw online, but it took me to 3 website and when I tried "admin" as password, it didn't work.

Pls explain how to get this done.
      Thanks

Make sure your MiFI is connected to your PC and the 3MobileWiFi software has successfully installed.

        Open '3MobileWiFi'
Find the section 'Change Your Settings'
Enter admin password (By default the password is 'Admin')
        Click Log In
Click Advanced Settings > Connection Settings > Profile Settings > New
‘Profile Name’ – Anything you want (e.g. Vodafone Profile)
        ‘Connection Number’- *99#
‘UserName’ – Your network operator’s username
‘Password’ - Your network operator’s password
        ‘Authntication’ - PAP
APN - Your network operator’s APN
        IP Address - Dynamic
Click Save > Continue > Advance Settings > Connection Settings > Connection Settings
Select your new profile from the 'Profile List' drop down menu (e.g. Vodafone Profile)
        Click Apply

Then we can not know to what password it is changed. Try the standart passwords like "12345", "11111", "00000" and so..
