This router detects by lan cable.
You need to have other connection (bot lan) at unlock and detect time.
If can not detect, try to set this router to dhcp, other connection configure manually.
If that does not help, then other connection to dhcp, router configure manually. Then you should be able to detect.

Could you try to detect it when other connections are offline? Only this router is connected. Are you able to detect it then?

Yes - I've tried and true. Cut off all connections on your computer and disable all the router just left on lan. Nothing changes!
